Rock en Seine adds nearly thirty new names to lineup
Like the encore chants at a concert when the crowd wants more, a new line-up announcement is here to satisfy even the most insatiable minds ahead of the next edition of Rock en Seine. Nearly thirty new names, spanning a wide range of musical worlds, are joining the 2026 edition today, doubling the number of artists set to perform at the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud from Wednesday 26th to Sunday 30th August.
So what will these festivities look like? First of all, like a summit meeting between some truly towering names: hip-hop duo Clipse, the legendary project of Pusha T and Malice, who made their long-awaited return in 2025 after 16 years without a release; Swedish superstar Lykke Li with her soulful electro-pop sound; the iconic Peaches, who has lost none of her bite or radical edge; Scottish veterans Mogwai, still crafting post-rock monuments; and the legendary Mael brothers, aka Sparks, approaching 60 years of career devoted to wonderfully eccentric, extravagant pop. This constellation of artists is naturally joined by equally essential figures from today’s scene, such as London band Wolf Alice, now firmly established on the international rock landscape, and techno-punk duo Kompromat, the electrifying alliance between two pillars of French electronic music, Vitalic and Rebeka Warrior.
The festival’s stages will also welcome a host of free spirits, each already an established figure in their respective field. Among them are British collective Black Country, New Road, with their experimental, maximalist rock; the fascinating composer Anna von Hausswolff, continuing her gothic-drone quest alongside her faithful organ; and the ever-in-demand Lewis Ofman, a man of many talents (producer, songwriter, singer, musician...) who is currently focusing on his flourishing solo career.
The “Made in France” label could, in fact, apply to many artists appearing at next year’s edition. Rock en Seine remains true to its mission: shining a light on the abundance of talent flourishing across every corner of France. Among them, Jessica93, Grandma’s Ashes, Novelists, Ditter, Bonne Nuit, Dynamite Shakers, Gabriel Kröger and Küdeta, and whether they perform in French or English, each act embodies a French scene in constant evolution, driven by a renewal that is as relentless as it is exciting.
Finally, new discoveries from abroad will round out these major additions, with a strong American contingent (including Tyler Ballgame, Hudson Freeman, Love Spells and Jean Dawson...) appearing alongside Australian artist Ecca Vandal, Irish acts Florence Road and Kingfishr, not to mention some of the UK’s most promising newcomers (Sekou, TTSSFU, High Vis, Man/Woman/Chainsaw...) who will make Rock en Seine “the place to be”. Or rather, as our headliners The Cure might put it, “just like heaven”; a certain vision of paradise.
Tickets for Wednesday 26, Thursday 27, Friday 28 and Saturday 29 are still available on Rock en Seine’s official website.
Sunday 30 is sold out.
