The Spanish are winning the battle for best line-ups on the EU festival circuit, as MadCool outdoes itself for the 2018 edition. Featuring the biggest names in Rock n Roll, the mid-July festival in Madrid is shaping up to be the highlight of the summer.
There is exactly one problem with the bill: Sunday will be clash city. If Depeche Mode and NIN end up playing on different stages at the same time, expect to find a load of ageing goths crying into their sangria. I will be amongst them.
Tickets are on sale now. Given the lineup and the fact that Britain will be suffering a Glastonbury Fallow Year, MadCool 2018 will sell out. Do not delay.
